Hello and welcome to my personal web site. During my four years as a high school technology teacher and my thirty years as a community college and university professor in educational technology, I made quite a few websites. Since I’ve been retired, I didn’t do one, but now I’ve decided to do a personal web site with topics around technology, woodworking, and cooking.
There will probably be other things for me to write about. I like to fish and shoot a bow. I also walk our four dogs each morning in a park with a lot of trails.
Here they are. Upper left is Moxie the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Next to her is Beau the Shih-Tzu. Bottom right is Sienna the Australian Cattle Dog, also called a Red Heeler. Then, above her, is the newest addition of Toby the Yorkshire Terrier. Walking them makes me feel like a cub scout leader some times!

The header image is an actual sunrise taken in January of 2026 in Warren Park, Topeka, KS. It was taken with an iPhone’s settings set to default. No filters were used. It was the most orange sunrise I had ever seen!
